  6. Announcing a new version of ISIS Kermit created by Bill Boyd, Hughes
  7. Aircraft Company, Fullerton, CA, from a version (MDS) received from Columbia
  8. University via the DSSO department of Intel.  It incorporates some
  9. enhancements inspired by the Kermit version from Leigh Instruments (MD2) as
  10. well as a number of other enhancements.  All of the ISIS Kermit files have
  11. the prefix "MDS".  For more information on this version, see file
  12. MDSAAA.HLP.

  14. The ISIS Kermit provides dumb terminal emulation and file transfer for Intel
  15. Series II, Series III and Series IV computers running the ISIS operating
  16. system.  It has the basic Kermit features and some additional ones.

  18. According to somone who used some Kermit material from the new Kermit tapes,
  19. the installation command file for Intel iRMX-86 (I86) is incomplete.  This
  20. version of ISIS Kermit differs in several ways from the earlier (MDS)
  21. version.  See the .DOC file for more details.
